A native New Yorker, Richard Grille’s career began at the esteemed Fashion Institute of Technology, where he gained hands-on experiences with textiles, artistic expression and design. After a successful and global career where he traveled to the Orient and Europe working with the finest textile mills and vendors, Richard redirected his career from clothing design to celebratory design–which he found much more fulfilling. Richard discovered he was a natural at creating special events, social galas and corporate celebrations. The tools of his craft were rich and embellished fabrics; fragrant and exotic botanicals; dramatic lighting and candlelight; along with filigreed chargers and furniture. These elements are woven into a stunning tapestry–a virtual feast for the senses—unequivocal grandeur to stage a phenomenal event.
Richard’s vision delights and thrills his clients—he embraces each event as if it is my own. “To celebrate a life event is a privilege,” Richard says, “a chance to create unique and long lasting memories for the guest of honor and their honored guests.” His clients have chosen him to plan many of their families’ life events—he has done their weddings, their children’s Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, and even a parent’s memorial service.
